As an expert in the pool industry, I have tested and reviewed numerous robotic pool cleaners. And after thorough research and testing, I can confidently say that the Aiper Scuba S1 is the most reliable robotic pool cleaner on the market. What sets the Aiper Scuba S1 apart from other cleaners is its exceptional performance without any complicated setup or operation procedures. It effortlessly cleans walls and floors, and its large filter basket eliminates the need to stop a cleaning cycle to empty it. With this easy-to-use model, you can keep your pool clean and free of debris with minimal effort. Let's face it, maintaining a pool can be a tedious task.
But with a robotic pool cleaner, you can spend less time cleaning and more time enjoying your pool. In my tests, the Dolphin Explorer E50 robot pool cleaner scored perfectly, making it my top choice for cleaning any inground pool. Its powerful motor and excellent suction effectively cleaned the stairs, walls, floor, and waterline of my pool with ease. I even like to call it “the Ferrari of cleaners” because of its exceptional cleaning ability. When I used this robot to clean my pool at the beginning of the season, it was covered in a thick layer of leaves, dirt, and branches.
But the cleaner effortlessly picked up both large and small debris, including the finest particles, thanks to its double-filtered waste basket. And with its large basket, I didn't have to stop and empty it during the entire cleaning cycle. The Aiper Seagull SE robot pool cleaner is another top contender for keeping your pool spotless. While it may not be as powerful as some of the more expensive models I tested, I was still impressed with its performance. It collected almost all the debris from the bottom of my pool during the tests, making it ideal for sweeping up pollen and other small debris.
However, it did struggle with larger debris, such as leaves. While it managed to clean most of the leaves in my pool, it had difficulty with large clumps of dirt and leaves. This cleaner is compatible with both inground and raised pools, and its wireless design makes it a great choice for larger pools. Plus, its battery fully charges in just 2.5 hours, so you don't have to wait long between uses. With the Dolphin Premier robot pool cleaner, you'll never have to worry about clogs or debris being left behind.
Its intelligent technology allows it to navigate the pool and collect waste efficiently and effectively. The robot's controls are straightforward, making it easy to optimize the cleaning routine without having to adjust multiple settings. Simply drop the cleaner into the pool and press the power button. It only has one speed, but it includes a programmable timer so you can set the frequency of cleaning. And right out of the box, it's ready to work with the filter already installed. It also comes with several filters for different types of waste, including a fine cartridge filter, an ultra-fine cartridge filter, and a large fine filter bag.
The Dolphin Escape robot pool cleaner is my top choice for thoroughly cleaning elevated pools. During my tests, my pool was located next to a tree, so it was full of leaves and branches. The cleaner was incredibly effective and collected all the debris with its large waste cartridge. Its rollers helped it navigate and clean the pool with ease, while its rubber tracks prevented it from slipping off the pool surface. And with a 40-foot cable that never got tangled during my tests, this robot is perfect for larger pools. My pool had visible dirt and leaves from nearby trees in the water, but the robot cleaned it all up, vacuuming the leaves and collecting a significant amount of sediment.
And with its top-loading filter, it was effortless to remove and rinse for cleaning. The robot easily climbed the walls of my pool, which had sharp corners with very little curvature in the transition between the wall and floor. While this cleaner is ideal for scrubbing walls, it doesn't clean the waterline. The delicate shape of my pool made it challenging for the robot to clean in the narrow corners of the deepest part, but overall, I was impressed with its cleaning performance. And with its large filter tray that traps all types of debris, it's easy to remove and rinse for cleaning.
However, I did find that the extraction cable was too short for my somewhat deep pool, so I had to manually remove it. But this wouldn't be an issue with a smaller pool. I watched as this cleaner climbed up the walls of my pool and scrubbed the tiles during my tests, and I was impressed by how well it navigated the pool. It even climbed onto a recessed seat at the end of my pool to scrub it. The only downside is that it doesn't clean the surface of the water to collect floating debris.
However, this wasn't a significant issue as the robot was very effective at scrubbing the floor, walls, and waterline. The only area where this cleaner struggled was with stairs. While it could easily climb walls, my stairs were too short, so the robot detected that it was coming out of the water and disconnected. But overall, after testing two dozen robotic pool cleaners at home, I can confidently say that the Aiper Scuba S1 is the most reliable and efficient option for effortless maintenance.
